Ahh…Spring. The weather is starting to warm up, my garden is beginning to bloom, Farmer’s Markets are open again. How I love this time of year.
In honor of the gorgeousness that is Spring, I was thinking that I want to throw a party. For no reason other than just to gather good friends and great food in a beautiful and inviting setting.
Here’s my inspiration:
I want to wear that blue-green dress with the amazing coral necklace and earrings.
I want to wear those cute little white sandals (because I never wear heals!).
I want everyone’s drink to have a paper straw with a flag with their name on it.
I want to serve Farmer’s Market organic fruit, scrumptious grilled veggies, soft gourmet cheeses, and freshly baked bread.
I want the centerpieces to look effortless as if I just tossed some flowers in the old wood crates that are sitting in my garage.
I want to make decadent old fashioned hand pies in flavors like apple caramel and blueberry cream.
I want each place setting to have a freshly cut garden rose on it.
So, what do you think? Would you want to come to a party like this?
